There they were in front of their handcrafted pastel arches with the rolling hills of Oklahoma as a perfect backdrop. Hudson Springs is a gem of an Oklahoma wedding venue — open prairie, big sky, and the kind of natural setting that makes photographers and DJs both very happy.

The couple had poured real care into their details. The ceremony arches were handmade. The florals were lush and personal. The guest count was intimate enough that everyone knew each other — which always makes for a more emotionally connected room.

The ceremony was outdoors in classic Oklahoma fashion: warm evening, light breeze, golden hour light that photographers dream about. Our ceremony audio setup handled the wind well — clean wireless mics for the officiant and couple, processional and recessional cues hit on time.

The reception moved inside as the sun set. The transition from ceremony to cocktail hour to dinner to dancing felt seamless — which is the goal every time. By the time open dancing started, the room was already warm and ready. Nobody had to be dragged to the dance floor.
